Chaim Lieder

Chaim previously worked at leading architecture firms SJB and PBD Architects, where he was involved in the delivery of some of Sydney’s most iconic residential developments. This experience built deep technical proficiency, design acumen and a practical understanding of the development lifecycle. Combined with strong industry knowledge and a vast network across planning, design, and development, this informs his strategic approach to site acquisition.

Emile McKenna

Emile previously worked as part of the Real Estate team at Commonwealth Bank, where he worked on more than $500 million in development finance deals across Greater Sydney. This experience gave him a strong commercial lens and a deep understanding of how developers view risk, return and funding. With a solid network across finance, construction and development, Emile brings sharp analysis and real-world deal sense to every opportunity.

Chem Property was founded in 2024 by Chaim Lieder and Emile McKenna to deliver a smarter approach to site acquisition, combining deep expertise in architecture, planning, and development finance.

We specialise in assembling premium off-market sites across Sydney’s most sought-after suburbs, acting as an outsourced acquisitions arm for residential and mixed-use developers. At the same time, we help owners and strata blocks discover their property’s highest and best use, attract serious buyers, and secure a strong uplift.

Our role is simple: We assess development potential, structure the deal, and connect the right site with the right developer. From boutique 4-unit blocks to landmark 400-apartment projects, we have the expertise, network, and on-the-ground intelligence to unlock opportunities others can’t.
